Antoine Griezmann is stalling over his planned £89million move to Manchester United as he wants Champions League football.

Atletico Madrid striker’s summer move to Manchester United seemed set in stone, but not according to his advisor Eric Olhats.

“I had heard that Manchester United was done, was signed, but we don’t even know if they’ll play in the Champions League,” said Olhats.

“That’s important, I must say. Manchester United have made an approach to inform themselves, just like all the others. They come to find out what our thinking is, what the player’s thinking is, if there are possibilities, how much, how. But it seems logical.”

So it’s either secure a fourth place finish in the Premier League and/or Europa League for Manchester United or the deal is bust.
