Manchester City move up to second place in the Premier League table after a well fought match against Bournemouth.

City striker Sergio Aguero started on the bench yet again, but went into the pitch in just 14 minutes following an injury to Gabriel Jesus.

Raheem Sterling had the opener from close range on the half hour mark.  Tyrone Mings put City’s second goal into his own net under pressure from Aguero.

City are now in 2nd place in the table, and Chelsea’s closest challenger to the Premier League title, who are now 8 points clear at the top of the table.
